Gloria A. (Grant) Olson, age 92 of Stoughton, died November 10, 2023 at Copley at Stoughton after a period of failing health. She was born and raised in Brockton the daughter of the late William and Anna (Williams) Grant.
A 1948 graduate of Brockton High School, Gloria also graduated from the Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing. Most of her nursing career was spent in the Veterans Administration Hospital network. She travel around the United States on many of her assignments.
Gloria was a free spirit and independent lady. She enjoyed traveling, watching tennis and most importantly spending time with her family.
Gloria is survived by her three children; George C. Olson of Stoughton, Kristin (Olson) and Peter Hession of Scituate and Jennifer (Olson) Naples of Stoughton; grandchildren Nicholas and Bryanna Naples of Bradenton, FL, Nicholas and Alaina (Hession) Hanson and great grandchildren Meara, Olive and Isla Hanson of Chagrin Falls, OH.
Visitation will be on Friday December 8, 2023 from 10-11am at the Conley Funeral Home 138 St. Brockton followed by a service at the funeral home. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
