Obituary

Esther Noga Partyka, 90, of Chicopee, Massachusetts, died on November 11, 2023 in the
comfort of her home. Esther was born in Chicopee, Massachusetts on November 6, 1933, the
daughter of Karolina (Jarek) and Jan Noga.
A lifelong resident of Chicopee, Massachusetts, Esther graduated from Chicopee High School,
and graduated summa cum laude from Elms College in Chicopee in 1987. She began her
career as a tax accountant with Fisk, Bilton & Smith, PC in West Springfield. After earning the
title of Enrolled Agent with the IRS, Esther then worked for Meyers Brothers Kalicka, PC in
Holyoke into her eighties. A diligent employee, she enjoyed lifelong friendships with her
employers and colleagues.
Above all, Esther was a devoted wife and mother, who was engaged in and supported her
children’s educational and extracurricular activities. She enjoyed her summers in West Dennis
on Cape Cod, as well as the many friendships made in her Wrinkle Point neighborhood.
Esther is survived by her adoring husband Max C. Partyka of sixty-seven years and her
cherished children, Mary D. Partyka, Esq. and David J. Partyka, Ph.D. of Chicopee. She is also
leaves behind her dear sister, Genevieve M. Polak of Chicopee, and her sister-in-law, Helen
Ratelle and her husband Gerald of Ludlow, along with many special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Edwin L. Noga and Raymond
J. Noga. A private celebration of her life was held on November 20, 2023 at Grise Funeral
