Timothy Patrick Clayton, 45, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, November 26, 2023, in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Friday, December 1, 2023, at New Testament Holiness Church, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, with Alphonso Burris officiating. Interment will follow in the New Testament Cemetery. The family will greet friends Thursday evening from, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Clayton was born February 2, 1978, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Patricia Dale Young Breyfogle & the late Jack Fredrick Clayton. He graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 1996 and was a machine operator for Shaw Industries and worked for Food Lion. Mr. Clayton enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Breyfogle of Fitzgerald; two brothers: Scott Clayton of Fitzgerald and Richard Clayton & Billie of Fitzgerald; nieces and nephews: Kyle Clayton, Dean Clayton, Jack Clayton, Emily Clayton, Ricky Tallman and Taylor Tallman. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Ray.
