Edith E (Hart) Healy, 93, of Tiverton, Rhode Island passed away November 23rd at Saint Anne’s Hospital after a brief stay.
Edith was born in Tiverton to Ellery P Hart and Ethel A (Carter) Hart.
She is pre deceased by her parents and her two brothers Richard Hart formerly of Portsmouth, Rhode Island and Harold Hart formerly of Tiverton, Rhode Island and a daughter, Janet E (Healy) Gadbois.
She leaves behind a son, Stephen F and wife Melissa Healy of Pocasset, MA. and his three children Stephen P and wife Amanda Healy and great-grandsons Andrew and Lucas Healy of Florida , Erin E (Healy) and husband Dr. Lawrence Kelley and great-grandsons Theodore and August Kelley of Massachusetts and Lillian A Healy of Massachusetts.
And also her daughter Joyce L (Healy) and her husband, the late Karl Furtado of Lovell, Maine Her granddaughter Kimberly J Furtado of Maine, great-grandsons Evan L. Burns and Kameron M Fram.
She was a lifelong resident of Tiverton and a 1948 graduate of Roger’s High School, Newport, Rhode Island in which she was a member of the National Honor Society.
She loved to travel and had fulfilled many dreams by traveling the world many times. She enjoyed knitting, old movies and her many friends.
Services will be private.
