Jean M. (Doyle) Hussey, age 93, a longtime resident of Winchester, passed away on November 21, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Warren L. Hussey.
Born in Everett, Jean was the daughter of the late Augustine P. and Margaret (Keating) Doyle. She was raised in Everett and graduated from the Cheverus School in Malden. She worked for the telephone company for many years.
In her earlier years, Jean was an avid Patriots fan who loved traveling with her friends to attend away games. She and Warren spent time at their camp in Maine and enjoyed cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. In her later years, she loved doing arts and crafts. She also loved shopping and buying gifts for her nieces, nephew and friends, especially their children.
Jean was the dear sister of Paul Doyle and his late wife Mary of Wakefield, Ronald Doyle and his late wife Mary of Stoneham, Michael Doyle and his wife Pauline of Everett, the late Augustine Doyle, John Doyle, George Doyle and his surviving wife Roberta of Florida, the late Mary Burton and her late husband Frank, the late Adrian Doyle and his surviving wife Ann of Tewksbury. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester on Thursday, November 30, at 11:30 AM. Visitation will be held in the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service from 10:30-11:30AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.
