Obituary

Gray- Ricky Lee Primmer, 67, passed away peacefully at home, in the care of his loving wife, and surrounded by loved ones.
Rick was born January 28th, 1956 in Crestline, OH. He spent the majority of his adolescence in Ohio before moving to Colorado, and much later eventually found his way to Maine. Rick loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and photography. The majority of his early life he worked for the electronics company Digital. His love for computers and electronics was something he enjoyed well into his retirement.
Rick worked the remainder of his years as a truck driver. He earned his CDL and accomplished something he had always wanted. Another dream was recognized as he was also blessed, with the birth of his one and only granddaughter Breanna. The two absolutely adored one another. She referred to him affectionately as “Poppy” and his loving nickname for her “Punky”. The only thing Rick loved more than his granddaughter was the love of his life, Belinda. They were happiest spending quiet times together, and doing things for and with their granddaughter.
Rick is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Belinda, his son Danny Lee, and his daughter in law Shana. His sister Bonnie Sigma and husband Dorles. He often referred to Bonnie as his Big Sister. She raised him from an early age and their bond was formed forever. His older brother Kim, as well as many other nieces and nephews, including his two favorite Todd and Troy.
Rick had requested for there to be no service. He instead hoped that anyone that knew him would hold onto the fond memories they shared.
Robert Frost
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
