Worcester – James M. Carreau, 58, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Thursday, November 23, 2023.
Jim is survived by his wife of 31 years, Susan (Dupre) Carreau; his son, Jake Carreau of Worcester; his mother, Alice (Elliott) Carreau of Worcester; a sister, Michelle Carreau of Worcester; a step son, Steven Dupont of Clarksburg, MA and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Jim was born in Worcester, son of the late James Carreau who passed away in 2015 and he is also predeceased by his grandparents. He graduated from the former Worcester Boy’s Trade High School in 1981 where he studied in the electrical department.
He has worked for the past 28 years for the Harr Motor Group on Gold Star Blvd. and was currently the head of the shipping and handling for the company.
Jim was a car enthusiast and enjoyed to play both darts and pool but he was the happiest when he was spending time with his family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 28 from 4 to 6 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a prayer service to be held at 6.
