GILMANTON IRON WORKS ----Lorraine F. Saulnier, 80, of Gilmanton iron works, NH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 16, 2023, surrounded by family and friends.
Lorraine was born on April 4, 1943, in Boston, MA, to the late John J. Daly and Elizabeth R. (Roach) Devin.
Lorraine was a career employee of the US Postal Service and co-owned Lordens Livery Service with her beloved husband Dennis Saulnier. Lorraine was a kind soul dedicating her life to the caring of others. She raised her grandson, Dennis (DJ), after the sudden loss of her daughter Felicia. She enjoyed her pets (Molly, Shorty and Shadow), plants and daily conversations with her brother Jack. She was blessed to have many dedicated friends especially Kevin and Kim Gannon of Gilmanton Iron Works, NH. She will be sorely missed by all her family and friends.
Lorraine was predeceased by her beloved husband Dennis J. Saulnier of Attleboro, MA. She was sister to Judy Coleman of Bridgewater, MA and Maureen Barrett of Canton, MA. She is survived by Kevin Devin and his wife Lorraine of Scituate, MA, Jack Devin of Dorchester, MA, and Patti Shaughnessy and her husband Marty of Quincy, MA. She was a dedicated mother to Brian Hines and his wife Lenore of Citra, FL, Felicia Romano of Attleboro, MA, Gregory Hines and his wife Brenda of Lady Lake, FL, and step-daughter Jean Masterson and her fiance Jon of Manchester, NH. Lorraine was a caring grandmother to Nicholas Hines of Conway, NH, Heather Hines of Berlin, NH, Alicia Estey of Chepachet, RI and Dennis Romano of Gilmanton Iron Works, NH, Alexa Hines of West Columbia, SC, and Cassandra Hines of Ocala, FL. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
Honoring Lorraine's wishes, no services are scheduled as she chose to be remembered in people's hearts and memories.
