On Monday November 20, 2023 our dear beloved daughter Makeila Sian, passed away at just the young age of 17, after a long and difficult battle with cancer.
She is survived by her parents Lourdes Rodriguez and Alexander Sian, along with Alexander’s wife Christina. Makeila was the loving sister to her older brothers Gabriel and Giovanni Rodriguez and Daniel Escoto, who will forever protect her, and her younger siblings Julian and Makenzie, who absolutely adored her. She was the beloved granddaughter of Judith Torres, Hugo Escoto and Blanca and Oscar Burrion. Makeila is survived by many loving aunts and uncles including Lissette, Yessenia, Kassandra, Carmen, Christian and Edwin Along with her many cousins, Leila, Lucy, Alaia, Angel, Krystal & Lexi.
Makeila was happiest when spending time with family and friends. She loved scary movies, crafts of all kinds and could shop for hours on end. Makeila cared deeply and selflessly for all those who loved her. Her beautiful smile and kind soul will continue to provide warmth to all those she touched.
Visiting hours will be held at Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester St., Boston, MA from Monday 11am-1pm. Internment will follow at New Calvary Cemetery, 800 Harvard St., Mattapan, MA.
