Pauline (Flanagan) Clark, age 79, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20th, at Lahey Clinic Medical Center of Burlington. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Fortunato) Flanagan. Pauline grew up on Stanley Ave. in Medford, before moving to Summer Ave. in Reading in 1978. Pauline’s greatest joy was her family. When she wasn’t spending time with her husband, daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren, or enjoying time or conversations with her siblings and friends, she loved to be in her garden or engrossed in one of her beautiful sewing projects.
Pauline was the beloved wife of Edward James Clark, and the devoted mother of Jennifer Stacy Clark and her husband, Andrew John McRiner, of Winchester. She was the loving grandmother (“Nana”) of Abigail Rose and Emma Jayne McRiner, and the dear sister of the late Virginia Wilson, Eleanor Walsh, John R. Flanagan, Thomas J. Flanagan, Linda Ricciardi and Barbara Minsky. Pauline is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Sunday, December 3rd at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family from 11 AM through 12 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Pauline’s name to the American Lung Association, 1661 Worcester Rd., Suite 301, Framingham, MA 01701.
