Roseann C. MacKillop of Medford passed away Saturday, November 18th at the Winchester Nursing Center. She was 81. Born in Boston and raised in Charlestown, she was the daughter of the late Edward and the late Sophie (Wans) Leonard.
Roseann was a loving wife and mother. She lived most of the past 52 years of her life in Medford. She worked at Marshalls for nearly 30 years as a retail clerk. In her free time, Roseann enjoyed trying her luck with scratch tickets, having a nice meal in a restaurant with family and friends, or watching classic movies.
The beloved wife of the late Edward M. MacKillop, Roseann was the devoted mother of Lauren Sabbio and her husband John of Revere, Michael P. MacKillop and his companion Kim Rubinson of Houston, TX, and Edward L. MacKillop of Medford. She was the dear mother-in-law of the late Michael Turner.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday December 1st from 5 – 7PM and again on Saturday morning at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in Saint Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
