Richard A. Sears, age 63, of Middleboro, formerly of Mansfield and Dedhan, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton.
Born in Norwood, MA on April 4, 1960, he was a loving son of the late Richard E. and Regina H. (Berk) Sears.
Richard grew up in East Dedham. His family later moved to Mansfield, where he was a graduate of Mansfield. He had previously been employed as a stock person for Warehouses in the Taunton Industrial Park.
A resident of Middleboro for the past twenty years, Richard was a big fan of music, most of all Elvis Presley. He enjoyed riding his bicycle for exercise and the simple pleasure of watching Television in the comfort of his home.
He was the dear brother Michael Sears of Fall River, Douglas Sears of Mansfield and Beverly Sears of Mansfield. He was the uncle of Krystal Williams of Mississippi, the great uncle of Brielle Davenport of Mississippi and the former husband of Linda Sears.
A service in celebration of Richard’s life will be held at a later date and place to be announced in the months ahead.
