Joanne Mae (Romaniello) Belland, 84, formerly of Medway died November 21 in the Advinia Care of Northbridge following a long illness. She was the wife of Robert F. Belland for the past 66 years.
Born in Milford, October 17,1939, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Lucia (Ferrante) Romaniello, Joanne had lived in Medway for most of her life.
Joanne had been a receptionist at the Bowditch & Dewey Law Firm in Framingham for many years.
She had previously worked at Denim Duds in Medway and Friendly’s in Framingham.
Joanne had been an amazing cook and she loved to read, go to the beach and travel. Most of all she loved being with her children and grandchildren throughout her life.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Robert Belland and his wife Angie of Barre, Mark Belland and his wife Dana of Moorestown, New Jersey and Julie Rabaioli and her husband Joseph of Northbridge.
She is also survived by her sister Patricia Scanlon of South Dennis.
Joanne is also survived by her grandchildren, Dustin, Deanna, Jennifer, Ashley, Nick, AJ, Christian, Andrew, Devon and McKenna and her great- grandchildren, Gabriel, Jack, Layne, Sawyer, Archie, Frances, Jonah and Judah.
Her funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 27 in St. Joseph Church, Medway at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 27 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com ) 3 Barber Street, Medway.
