SWANSEA… Winston C. Spooner, age 81, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Hope Hospice in Providence, RI.
Winston was the beloved husband of the late Rosemarie (Crivaro) Spooner. Born in Fall River, MA, he was son of the late Leslie and Thelma (Mcleod) Spooner. Winston lived most of his life in the Fall River and Swansea area.
Winston served his nation in the United Stated Air Force. Following his service, he worked for many years in floor installation, in time owning his own carpet store. In his free time, he took a tremendous interest in computers.
Survivors include: son, David Spooner of Alexandria, VA; daughter, Margo Spooner of Fall River, MA; sisters, Janet Hannafin of Fall River, MA, Barbara Bell of Fall River, MA and Ada Peron of Hartford, CT; and grandchild, David. In addition to his spouse and parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, the Late Leslie Spooner, Beverly Clarke, and Ellen Stevenson.
