John Seminara of Malden passed away on Friday, November 16th at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. He was 56. A native of Riesi, Sicily, Italy, he was the son of the late Salvatore and the late Enza (Pagano) Seminara.
John was employed at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston where he worked as a mechanical engineer for many years. He came to the United States in 1972 from Sicily. After high school he earned his degree from the Wentworth Institute, focusing on mechanical and electrical engineering. John was a loving son, uncle and friend. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and often travelled to Sicily to visit his relatives.
John was the loving brother of Giuseppe Seminara of Malden. He was a devoted uncle and Godfather to Zina Seminara of Boston.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 24th at 10 AM in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted.
