John C. “Sebo” Tarrant, 56, of Tifton, Georgia, died Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Holt Baptist Church in Irwin County, Georgia, with the Rev. Walter James officiating. Interment will follow in Holt Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Sebo was born October 11, 1967, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Bobby & Reva Mae Pettis Tarrant. He worked in HVAC for Adam Cargle and Wade Crumley. He enjoyed fishing and loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Harper Tarrant of Tifton; children and their spouses: Adam & Jessica Tarrant, Jamie & Jocelyn Tarrant, Michelle & Nathen Branam, Daniel Tarrant, and Cody & Amber Tarrant, all of Tifton; grandchildren: Brooklynn Tarrant, Madison Branam, Carson Tarrant, Kylie Tarrant, Landon Tarrant, Johnathen Branam, Greyson Branam, Elijah Deslandes, Kennedi Branam, Cody Tarrant, Lucas Wall, and Jayden Wall; two brothers: Bobby & Joyce Tarrant of Wray and Buddy Tarrant of Wray; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Cayson Tarrant.
