John F. Yandle, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Saugus Rehabilitation in Saugus following a short battle with leukemia. He was 69 years of age.
John was born in Boston on March 6, 1954, a son of the late John Yandle and Ann (O'Donnell) Yandle. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated throughout the Boston Public School system. John worked for several years as a laborer at Revere Sugar Refinery in Charlestown. John was an avid sports fan of all the Boston sports teams.
John is the devoted brother of Annmarie Myers and the late James "Peppy" Yandle and Joseph Yandle. He is the father of John Yandle and Brendan Yandle. John is the loving uncle to Paul Myers Jr., James "Peppy" Yandle Jr. who dedicated himself and shared a special relationship with his uncle, Erin O'Leary, Robert Yandle, Kellie Myers, Shane Yandle and also great-uncle to his many loving grandnieces and grandnephews.
