Gail (Russell) Stevens, 69, beloved partner, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt sadly left us on November 7, 2023 following a brief illness.
Gail grew up in Worcester, relocated to Florida for a while before moving back to MA. She was employed at Caldor’s and at Sprague Electric where she worked as a computer chip assembler.
She enjoyed shopping with John and her sister Joyce, spending holidays with the family, and playing with her greatest joy, Scooter, who is affectionately known as “Kitty”.
Gail was preceded by her daughter Christine Marchand of Worcester and her sister Joyce C. Ayik of Worcester. She is survived by her lifelong partner John Richard of Rutland and her grandson Jeffrey Marchand, his partner Iris Childers, and two granddaughters, Sapphire and Jade of North Carolina, a niece, and two nephews.
Gail was a kind, generous woman, and a devout Christian. Although we will miss her dearly, we are comforted to know that she is returning to her heavenly home with Jesus.
