WEBSTER – Joseph D. “Joe” Ciesla, 62, died Wednesday, November 15, at home after an illness.
He leaves his brother, Stanley F. Ciesla of Webster; his aunt, Theresa Gwozdz of Charlton. He was preceded in death by his sister Judith Ann (Ciesla) McAbee who died on October 21, 2023.
He was born in Worcester on April 19, 1961, a son of Stanley and Genevieve (Klys) Ciesla. He was a graduate of Saint Joseph Elementary School and the 1979 class of Bartlett High School.
Mr. Ciesla owned and operated along with his brother Ciesla Excavating. His work in excavation was the driving passion in his life.
Funeral services will be held privately. Donations in his memory may be made to the Webster-Dudley Food Share, 4 Church Street, Webster, MA 01570. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street.
