Paula L. Tirro Sr, 71 of Revere, MA, sadly passed away on November 12, 2023, at 12:30pm, after a long, painful, drawn out battle with Cancer.
Paula was born December 30 1951, the daughter of William "Matches" and Patricia "Pat" McGrath. Biological daughter of Burchard Libby. Paula graduated Julie Billiart High School, worked at Filene's for 35 years, Shaw's, and later East Boston Neighborhood Health Center.
Those who new Paula will remember her not only as a mother, grandmother, and friend but as a beacon of strength, determination, and love. Paula believed in hard work, honesty, and the value of giving your word. She was loving and fair with her daughter's and was a helping hand to her friends.
Paula faced many challenges in a way that inspired those around her with her courage, resilience and determination that had no bounds.
Paula will be remembered for the laughter and wisdom she imparted and will live on in our cherished memories as a source of inspiration and guiding light.
Paula has moved on to a new existence in Heaven with God Our Father, where suffering and pain no longer control her destination.
Paula was mother to Dina M. Tirro of Revere, and the late Paula Lee Tirro Jr. of Roslindale. Her grandchildren Paul David Steele and Andreas Rivera. Her siblings Thomas (Pam) McGrath, and Shawna McGrath, and the late
Charles (Karen) Libby, Patty (Brian) McNeil, Joanne (Steven) Coleman.
She will be missed and thought of everyday by those of us she left behind.
