Michael "Mike" E. Nicholson, 43, of Tifton passed away Monday, April 11, 2005, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. His funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2005, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. John Cone and the Rev. Terrell Roberts officiating. Mr. Nicholson was laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Born August 28, 1961, in Akron, Ohio, Mr. Nicholson was the son of Carol Hand Burch and her husband and Mr. Nicholson's step-father, Jerry Burch of Tifton and the late Roy Gene Nicholson. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother and step-father, Mr. Nicholson is survived by his wife, Judy Parker Nicholson of Tifton; one son, Broc Nicholson of Tifton; two daughters and one son-in-law, Megan and Will Welborn of Perry and Lauran Nicholson of Tifton; two sisters, Mechelle Conn of Albany and Candice Davis of Ocala, Florida; and two grandchildrn, Mannie Banda and Molly Welborn.
