GILFORD ---- Pamela J. Dudek, 66, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 9, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved mother of MM2 Matthew Dudek of the United States Navy and Kelsey Dudek of Gilford, NH.
Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of Janet B. Scott and the late Thomas J. Scott of Fiskeville, RI, and the sister of Bethany DeNardo of Cranston, RI.
Pam worked as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Rhode Island College, her Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of New Hampshire and a Graduate Certificate in Surgical Services Management from Georgetown University. Pam was a Certified Nurse in the Operating Room, member of Sigma Theta Tau International, American Nurses Association, New Hampshire Nurses Association, and NH Infection Control and Epidemiology Professionals. She was employed as the Director of Infection Prevention and Employee Health at Huggins Hospital, Wolfeboro, NH at the time of her passing.
Pam cherished spending time with her family, especially Matthew, Kelsey, and Kelsey’s significant other, Martin Smock-Joyal. Pam loved visiting her home town of Fiskeville, RI, which she did many times every year to spend time with her mother, sister and cousins. She was an avid bird watcher and also enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and traveling.
A Calling Hour will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 3:00pm-4:00pm, with a service at 4:00pm, in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, NH. Family and friends are warmly invited to join us the family for dinner afterwards.
A private burial in Cottrell Historical Cemetery in Hope, RI will take place at a later date.
