Glenroy Everton Clarke affectionately known to his family as Roy, was born August 9, 1960 in Sugar Hill Saint Joseph Barbados to the Princess Clarke. Roy moved from Barbados to the United Stated in the 70's and has worked as a professional painter for years before he retired.
Roy was a loving father, son, and devoted brother who always put his friends and family first. He enjoyed playing classical music and loved watching tons of sports from college level to the pros. From holiday meals to helping his Aunt Hazel cook on Saturday, everybody knew Roy was an amazing cook.
Glenroy leaves to cherish his memories, his 3 children Randy, Christopher and Allison, 1 grandchild Keymanie, 2 Godchildren Davaughn and Akira, Siblings Andy, Lyndon and Nefrititi and his Mother Princess. Along with his beloved closest friends and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, colleagues and extended family. Glenroy will truly be missed.
Viewing hours will be on Friday November 17, 2023, from 9-10 AM followed by a Religious Service from 10-11:30 AM in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, 427 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, MA.
