In Dighton, November 13, 2023, Olive Mae (Brawn) Gagne, wife of the late Armand Gagne passed away at home at the age of 87. Olive was raised in Maine, and graduated from the Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing. She had a long successful career as a registered nurse in addition to raising 6 children. Olive was the mother of Michael Gagne and his wife, Barbara, of East Taunton, Cheryl Gagne of Boston, Susan Silvia of Dighton, Matthew Gagne and his wife, Eunice, of Plymouth, Elizabeth Cornell and her husband, Peter of Dighton and Nancy Rego and her wife Cindy of Somerset. Olive is survived by all her children, 11 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren and her sister, Naomi Toothaker, of Sanford, Maine, and brother, Edwin Brawn, of McLean Virginia and many nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her sisters, Sandra Brawn of White River Junction, Vermont and Beverly Beard of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Olive loved vacations with her grandchildren and trips to Bar Harbor with her husband. Many thanks to Beacon Hospice of Plymouth for their wonderful care. A private memorial service is planned by the family.
