Kim Thach, 92, of Worcester died Sunday, November 12th at home surrounded by her family. Her husband of 49 years, Son Vuong, died in 1997.
She leaves four sons; Thanh Vuong, Hoa Vuong and his wife, Nu all of Worcester, Thomas Vuong and his wife, Helouise Vuong of Holden, and Hung Vuong and his wife, Jennifer Lien of Rutland; two daughters, Tri Vuong and her husband, John Truong, and Thuan Vuong all of Worcester; eight grandchildren, Jimmy, Mindy, David, Elizabeth, Alex, Ashley, Andrew, and Amber; and two great grandchildren, Honest and Leenochka. She was predeceased by her son, Le Vuong.
Kim was born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and immigrated to the United States in 1992. Kim truly cherished spending time with family, creating fond memories such as feeding her grandchildren sugary pizza, feeding the local birds and neighborhood cats, watering her rose bush with shrimp water, watching cooking/travel vlogs along with wrestling shows, and spending time in her prayers. Kim, a generous and sharp minded individual, will be truly missed and be especially remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and friend.
Her funeral is Tuesday, November 21st in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with her services starting at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, November 20th from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
