In loving memory of Theodore (Ted) Tower Jr., born on November 1, 1962, and embraced by eternal peace on November 12, 2023, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Ted, a Stow, MA native, courageously battled a heart condition, finding solace surrounded by his cherished family in his final moments.
Ted's love for his wife, Nancy Rego, and their children, Matthew Papa, Katrina Papa, Mackenzie Tower, and Abigail Tower, was a testament to the strength of family bonds.
Ted is also survived by his parents, Constance Veneto and Theodore Tower Sr., and his devoted wife, Rosemary Tower. Among the pillars of his life were his siblings: brother Brian Tower and his wife Karen, and sister Kimberly Edwards and her husband David. Ted held dear memories of his predeceased sister, Sharon Tower.
In the tapestry of Ted's legacy, his nieces and nephews, Taylor, Connor, Gabe, Brittany, Nicole, Sophia, and Zachary, became threads of joy and inspiration. Ted's spirit lives on in the laughter and warmth shared with his great nieces Natalia, Leah, and Gianna.
His presence was not only felt in the hearts of his family, but also in the community of Tewksbury, where Ted became a revered figure as the coach of his daughters' softball leagues. His dedication to teaching and mentoring extended beyond the diamond, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those he taught.
A man of diverse interests, Ted found joy in his collection of treasures, each item holding a story. Among his prized possessions was his beloved Corvette. Ted also loved to hit the golf course, where he found solace and joy in the sport he cherished.
Professionally, Ted's career journey was marked by dedication and expertise. He spent three decades at Smith's Hypertronics, contributing his skills and passion. Later, as a product manager at Anderson, Ted continued to make his mark, leaving a legacy of diligence and excellence.
As we say our farewells, let us remember Ted Tower as a beacon of love, strength, and resilience. May his memory bring solace and his legacy endure through the bonds of family and the echoes of shared moments.
Services will be held Friday, November 17th, 2023 from 4PM to 8PM at Farmer and Dee Funeral in Tewksbury, MA. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations in Ted’s honor to the Tewksbury Girls Softball League at TGSL
