Linda A. (Nadeau) Smith, a resident of Lynn and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at The Life Care Center of The North Shore in Lynn. She was 73 years of age.
Linda was born in Boston on October 15, 1950, a daughter of the late Louis P. Nadeau and Marie E. (Kennedy) Nadeau. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1969. Linda was a homemaker most of her adult life who cherished the quality moments in her life while taking care of her husband and 3 sons.
Linda is the beloved wife of Robert A. Smith. She is the devoted mother of Kenny Smith, David Smith and his wife Robyn and the late Peter J. Smith who passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023. She is the loving Nana to Travis Smith and Hailey Joyce. She is the beloved sister of David and Marge Nadeau, Donna and Fran Wallace, Diane and Chet Ferreira, Louis P. Nadeau II and Pauline O'Brien, Glenn and Chantal Nadeau and the late Marie E. Nadeau. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Linda's visiting hours on Sunday, November 19, 2023, from 12 Noon to 3 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Linda's Funeral Service and burial will be private.
