North Oxford – Paul E. Seremet, 55, died Saturday, November 11, 2023 in Saint Vincent Hospital after being stricken ill.
He leaves his mother, Nancy J. (Russo) Seremet of Sutton; a brother, John E. Seremet and his partner Brandee Viens of Thompson, CT; a sister, Sara K. Seremet of Sutton; his partner, Lisa M. Seraphin with whom he lived and her son Spenser S. Seraphin; 3 nieces, his goddaughter, Morgan J. Brooks and her husband Jason, Rachel K. Seremet and Lily R. Seremet; a grand-niece, Josie Brooks and a grand-nephew, Jake Brooks.
He was born in Worcester on April 26, 1968 a son of Edward S. Seremet. He was a 1986 graduate of Bartlett High School. He attended the New England Institute of Technology in East Greenwich, RI and became a certified automotive mechanic.
Paul began his employment as an automotive technician at Cahill Tire in Oxford, he then worked at Kunkel Buick in Webster until they closed. He began working in construction for Henry J. Ceppetelli Construction in Webster, he then worked for Sealand Environmental in Montana and Sterling Concrete in Oxford before finding his true calling as a construction foreman with Charter Contracting Company in Boston.
He was a true outdoorsman growing up dirt biking, hunting and fishing. He was SCUBA certified and spent many hours with his siblings diving for lobster in Rockport. He spent many winters on Florida's west coast at the ocean. He loved spending time at the ocean with Lisa, Spenser, Lynne and John. For the past 10 years, he has enjoyed gardening and kayaking.
His funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 18 at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street, Webster (please meet at church). His burial will be private. Calling hours will take place on Friday, November 17 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster. The family kindly request that flowers be omitted and donations in his memory be made to the Webster-Dudley Boy’s and Girl’s Club, 55 Oxford Avenue, Dudley, MA 01571.
