LACONIA ---- Ralph “Ray” Ernest Bauman, Jr., 63, of Shepard Street, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at his home.
He was born April 5, 1960, in Gloucester, MA to the late Ralph E Bauman and Elizabeth (Demetri) Betz.
Ray had a degree from General Motors University and was employed as a Service Manager at several dealerships, including Cantin Chevrolet in Laconia and Banks Chevrolet in Concord. In recognition of his outstanding customer service, he was a member of the Chevrolet “Only the Best Club” and was awarded trips to Hawaii and Switzerland. In 1998, he joined NH State Police as a dispatcher from which he retired in October 2022. He was extremely proud of his adult children Brittany and Benjamin. He enjoyed family BBQs, dogs, boating, and target shooting.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lisa (Rioux) Bauman, daughter Brittany Bauman, son Benjamin Bauman and his wife Adele Bauman, sisters Heidi M. O’Connell and Rebecca Weber, grandchildren Tyler and Maya Gallant, nieces Shauna Raiche, Avery Caporale, Haley Pinette, Jordan Sweeney, Emma Bouthiette, Trino Rioux and nephews Nathaniel and Ethan Loso, Kevin O’Connell, Chase Bouthiette and Sven and Sebastian Weber, as well as a large extended family in Gloucester, MA. Along with his father, he is predeceased by his grandparents, Nofie and Sadie Demetri, and his sister, Darlene Loso.

Per his wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
A private family memorial is planned for spring 2024.
