Kenneth Lee Byrne, 62, of Prosser, passed away peacefully at his home on November 8, 2023.
He was born in Kennewick on April 16, 1961 to Merlin and Reta (McManigal) Byrne. Ken was raised and educated in Prosser and graduated from Prosser High School with the Class of 1980. He worked in construction, for Alba’s Excavating and then for over the past twenty years for Rock Bottom Ranch. Ken was a member of the VFW and Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his children and grandchildren and family get togethers.
He is survived by his children, Jaimie (Winston) Smith, Lucas Byrne, Zackary Byrne, Cylee Byrne and Amber Byrne and step-son, John Stafford all of Prosser; and his grandchildren, Makayla Smith, Bentley Smith, Aubrey Byrne and Savannah Byrne. He is also survived by three brothers, Les Byrne of Spokane and Bobby Byrne and Darin Byrne both of Prosser; two sisters, Debbie Lewis of Moses Lake and Kimberly Hammad of West Richland; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
