Jane M. (Mallahan) Whooley, of Medford, passed away peacefully on November 11th, 2023, two weeks before her 82nd birthday. Beloved wife of the late Jeremiah Whooley and devoted mother of the late Karen Whooley. Cherished daughter of the late Sarah (White) and Edwin Mallahan. Sister of Leonard Mallahan of Virginia and the late Edwin Mallahan, Jr. and Francis Mallahan. Loving aunt to eleven nieces and nephews. Jane was an active longtime parishioner at Immaculate Conception Parish in Malden. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, beautiful smile and her quick witted sense of humor. Relatives & friends are invited to attend visitation at the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Wednesday November 15th from 8:30-9:30 AM followed by her Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Monastery of St. Clare, 440 River Rd., Andover, MA 01810.
