Anna R. (LaSelva) Tinker, age 90, of Medford passed away on Thursday, November 9th, in Dexter House of Malden. Raised and educated in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Angelina (Politano) LaSelva. Anna was employed for over 50 years as an administrative supervisor for John Hancock Insurance Company, and after retiring worked at Kohl’s until she was 80.
Anna was the beloved wife of the late Henry Tinker, with whom she enjoyed many vacations in Italy and Cape Cod. She was very loving toward young children in the family and was God-Mother to several. Anna was always doing for others and was the first to offer assistance to those in need, even helping the staff and fellow residents in Dexter house. She will be lovingly remembered by many cousins and friends.
A memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, on Saturday, November 18th, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford from 10 through 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
