Betty Alice (Shank) Zehrung, 89, of Anderson died November 8, 2023 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born July 23, 1934 in Anderson, the daughter of Nathan and Pearl (Barnett) Shank. She worked Assembly for Delco Remy Division of General Motors for 30 years before retiring in 1985.
She was a member of Central Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jimmy Zehrung of Anderson whom she married on February 16, 1996 in Muncie; four children, Monty (Jan) Millage of Fort Wayne, David Zehrung of Ottawa, Illinois, Ronald (Jowana) Zehrung of McCordsville and Cheryl (Kelly) Hughes of Muncie; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Bob Millage and siblings, Roland Shank, Bessie Jackson, Martha Zirkelback and Russell Shank.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with her great-grandsons, Rev. David Shafer and Rev. Scott Stamper of North Anderson Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
