Weston Creed Mathis passed peacefully in his sleep on November 3, 2023. He was immediately welcomed into the arms of Jesus and adored by all his loved ones who were waiting to meet him in Heaven. Although his time on earth was short, his life has forever left its imprint on our hearts. His sweet presence, smile and giggles will always be remembered and treasured by all who loved him.
Service will be held Saturday, November 11 at 4 pm at the Statham Shoals boat landing on Boat Landing Road in Abbeville GA, 31001.
Weston Creed Mathis was the infant son of Hannah Mathis & Kenny Bridges, both of Fitzgerald. He is survived by his three half siblings: Keelan Bridges, Jenna Bridges, and Koledom Bridges; his Peepaw & Memaw, Ron & Rita Mathis; his Mammaw, Connie Barnes; his great-grandparents: Wanda & Robert Spicer and Linda Barnes; his godmother, Whitney Costa; as well as his bonus Papaw & Nana, Linda & Mike Merritt. He is also survived by his aunt, uncles and cousins: Ellie Mathis, BJ & Jack, Rylea Merritt, Hayden & Trey Roscoe, Carrie & Dennis Brantley, Anzleigh Costa, Tyler, Ethan & Evan Reliford, Vicki & Ed Thompson, Mason Brantley & Sarah Paulk, Callie, Emory, Summer & Rowan Merritt, Katie & Lacey Merritt, Alora Jowers, and Cash Owens.
Creed gave us a lifetime of love during his short time on earth but I know he was met at those pearly white gates by his Papa and Uncle Ashley.
