Frances Adams Jackson, 91, of Tifton passed away Friday, May 13, 2005, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2005, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Elder Bill Mullis officiating. Mrs. Jackson was laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Derick Perkins, Freddie Walker, G-Hugh Tucker, David Durrence, Terry Smith and Jimmy Dees served as pallbearers.
Born July 13, 1913, in Lamar County, Mrs. Jackson was the daughter of the late William Jerry Adams and Ettie Jones Adams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elder Emory Homer Jackson, who passed way in 1994. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Tifton Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by two sons, Tony Jackson and Lane Jackson, both of Tifton' one daughter, Linda Blankenbaker of Statesboro; two brothers, Huberts Adams of Barnesville and Bill Adams of Columbus; one sister, Mary Hunt of Birmingham, Alabama; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
