Edna Mae Hall Jackson, 94, of Brookfield passed away Saturday, March 19, 2005, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2005, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Edward Mimbs officiating. Mrs. Jackson was laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens.
Elias Tello, Michael E. Moore, Joshua Moore, Matt Hinson, McKinley Whitehead and Tony L. Barnes served as pallbearers.
Born February 7, 1911, in Tift County, Mrs. Jackson was the daughter of the late Martin Hall and Linnie Jane Shell Hall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ike Jackson; seven brothers; and one sister. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Brookfield Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by three daughters, Debbie Villarreal and Margaret J. Maton, both of Tifton and Glenda Whitehead of Columbia, South Carolina; one brother, Irvin B. Hall of Tifton; six grandchildren, Christi Maton, Leslie Hinson, Cody Edwards, Jennifer L. Barnes, J. Douglas Barnes, Jr. and Angelica Frey; and eight great-grandchildren.
