Fannie Sara Frances McDaniel Johnson, 85, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2005, at Beverly Health Care in Tifton. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2005, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Ronald Parks officiating. Mrs. Johnson was laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Donnie Parks, Chris Parks, Michael Parks, James Johnson, Charles Johnson and Brandon Banner served as pallbearers.
Born September 16, 1919, in Turner County, Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Archie McDaniel and Mary Pierce McDaniel. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lee Johnson, who passed away in 1976; one son, Virgil Johnson; and four sisters. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by one son, Paul Edward Johnson of Tifton; one daughter, Ida Mae Parks of Tifton; one sister, Mary V. Anderson of Lenox; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren
