Dianna B. (Fontaine) Sibley, age 80, passed away on Nov. 7, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born on Oct. 1, 1943 in Claremont, NH, daughter of the late Paul and Lena (Couture) Fontaine. She is predeceased by her husband Earl Sibley who passed away in 2019 and also by her siblings Francis Fontaine and Rena Garczynski and her granddaughter Shellane Sibley. She is survived by two daughters, Melinda Gebo of Chicopee and Lynnette Sibley of Westfield, her son Glenray Sibley and his wife Erica of Vadosta, GA and her step-son James Sibley of Michigan. She also leaves seven beloved grandchildren and one great grandchild. Dianna graduated from Western Mass Hospital Nursing School in 1961. It was there that she made a lifelong friend in Virginia McGann. They were friends for 62 years. Dianna also delivered meals on wheels from 1997 thru 2003. She would often crochet blankets and hats for the elderly that were donated thru Western Mass Elder Care. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee.
