Judith Ann “Judy” (Covey) Baugh, 84, of Anderson passed away on November 5, 2023 at Community Hospital Anderson following an extended illness.
She was born on September 29, 1939 in New Castle, IN to the late Herbert Samuel and Viola (Morris) Covey. She owned and drove a school bus for Anderson Community Schools for over 30 years.
She was a member of Lone Oak Wesleyan Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed shopping, knitting, crocheting, cleaning, and was a wonderful cook.
She is survived by her son, Tim Whitworth of Anderson; a son-in-law, Danny Barrett of Middletown; 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Manuel L. Baugh in 2009; a son, Steven Lee Baugh; two daughters, Leah Abbott and Teresa Barrett; a brother, Michael Covey and a sister, Jackie Razor.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 1:30pm at South Mound Cemetery in New Castle, Indiana with her son-in-law, Pastor Danny Barrett officiating.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children.
