Bradford K. Bramwell, 70

Dateline: Norton, MA

Bradford K. Bramwell, age 70, a lifelong resident of Norton, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of the late Pauline M. (Fournier) Bramwell, to whom he was wed for forty-two years at the time of her death on December 14, 2017.

Born in Attleboro, MA on February 2, 1953, he was a loving son of the late Gordon and Barbara C. (Eberle) Bramwell.

Brad grew up in Norton, as part of well-known and respected, tight-knit family. He was a 1971 graduate of Norton High School, where he played on the football team and continued his studies, attending the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.

Prior to retiring, Mr. Bramwell was employed for many years as a Pharmaceutical Packaging Manager for Lyne Laboratories in Brockton. When younger, he worked at the former Pleasant Pharmacy, a business and area landmark owned and operated by his family for many years on Pleasant Street in Attleboro.

A communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Norton, Brad served as a former member and chairman on the Norton School Committee and also as a Norton Selectman. His greatest gift in life was his adoring family and his hobbies included board games, engaging in projects around his home, baking cookies and fun-filled family trips to amusement parks.

He is survived by his devoted daughters: Heather L. Daniel and her husband Jeremy of Attleboro and Heidi M. Ruiz and her husband Peter of Douglas. He was the cherished grandfather of Jeremy “JJ” and Anna Daniel, and Maxwell, Zachary, Justin and Kasey Ruiz. He was the dear brother of Stephen Bramwell and his wife Carol of Norton, Jeffrey Bramwell and his wife Nancy of Norton, Gregory Bramwell and his wife Patricia of Norton, Mark Bramwell and his wife Michelle of Norton and Todd Bramwell and his wife Nichole of Norton. He was the much-loved brother-in-law of Patricia Chastenay and her husband Paul of Norton, Donna Fournier-Johnson and her husband Glen of Attleboro, Jennie Fournier of Boston, Deborah Vanada and her husband Chuck of Berkley and the late Joseph “Jed” Fournier and his late wife Karen. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, November 13th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 14th at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 1 Power Street, Norton. Burial will follow at the Timothy Plain Cemetery in Norton.
