Worcester – Patricia E. (Goodwin) Reardon, 94, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 07, 2023 in Care One at Millbury after a long illness.
Mrs. Reardon was married for 57 years to Joseph J. Reardon, who passed away in 2006. She is survived by five daughters, Susan Zack and her husband, Robert, of Worcester; Patricia Ginese, of Worcester; Joan Flury and her husband, Robert, of Sumter, SC; Colleen Raymond and her husband, Michael, of Worcester and Nancy Bayly and her husband, Gary, of Atlanta, GA; and 12 grandchildren, Jeff, Chris, Darrell, Joseph, Meghann, Paul, Erin, Jim, CJ, Michael, Kansas and Riley. She also leaves behind 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Patricia was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Thomas and Josephine (Fraser) Goodwin, and is also predeceased by a son, Joseph Reardon; a son in law, Anthony Ginese; a brother, William Goodwin and a sister, Mary Johnson.
She graduated from South High School in Worcester and then continued her education at the Worcester School of Business Science. Patricia worked for many years with the City of Worcester Public Schools as a teacher’s aide at the former Downing Street School.
Mrs. Reardon was a lifelong member of Saint Peter’s Church in Worcester. She often enjoyed playing bingo and taking day trips to Foxwoods, but she was truly the happiest when she was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, November 11, from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 11, from 9 a.m. -10 a.m.in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Peter’s Church, 929 Main St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Patricia may be made to Saint Peter’s Church 929 Main St. Worcester, MA 01610.
