Mary Lou Kearce Howell Elinburg, 71, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at her residence. Her funeral service was held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2005, at United Tabernacle Full Gospel Church in Tifton with the Rev. Joe Wiggins officiating. Ms. Elinburg was laid to rest at Old Ty Ty Baptist Church Cemetery.
Tony Howell, Julio Howell, Nick Garcia, David Guy, Larry Delaney and Dennis Wiggins served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Miley, Greg Courtoy, Greg Cervantes, Kenny Allen, Ken Peters and Soylo Silva.
Born April 8, 1934, in Tifton, Mrs. Elinburg was the daughter of the late, Joe Kearce, Sr. and Alice Keagin Pearce. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Authur Howell; her second husband, Frank Elinburg; and four brothers, W. H. Kearce, Payton Kearce, Barney Kearce and Joe Kearce. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Unity Tabernacle Full Gospel Church in Tifton. She was a lifelong resident of Tifton.
Mrs. Elinburg is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Billy Joe and Pam Howell of Omega and Jack Howell of Tifton; five daughters and three sons-in-law, Ellen and Neal Guy of Milledgeville and Helen and Gary Wiggins, Sandra Perez, Rosalie and Soylo Silva and Janet Howell, all of Tifton; one brothers, Ernest Kearce of Mustic; one sister, Jewell Hammond of Flamaten, Alabama; 26 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
