Mr. Patrick “Pat” Gerald Finckler, a resident of North Andover, Massachusetts, and beloved husband of the late Barbara L. (Hamlin) Finckler, passed away at the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, Massachusetts on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. He was 75 years old.
Born in Superior, Wisconsin on November 23, 1947, he was the beloved son of the late Gerold "Hugh" and Elizabeth Louise (Liberty) Finckler. Pat was employed as a Vice President of Marketing for Insurance Claims until his retirement in 2001. He was an avid reader of current events, history, business trends and sports. He also enjoyed pursuing golf and traveling with and to his family of which he was a cornerstone of support. Pat was a stroke survivor, and he was an inspiration to all who he encountered through his fortitude and persistence of continual improvement and independence. He will be dearly missed.
Pat is survived by his loving sons Scott Finckler and his wife Joy Harris of Houston, Texas and Curt and his wife Julie Finckler of Andover, Massachusetts; siblings Diane Finckler of Superior, Wisconsin and Jeff and his wife Mary Finckler of Hugo, Minnesota; grandchildren Jamie and Laura Finckler; and several nieces and nephews. Pat was also the brother of the late Daniel and Charles Finckler.
