Marilyn Hertz, 96, of Brookline, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2023.
Originally and proudly from Brooklyn, New York, she was a strong, independent and caring woman who made everyone she encountered feel special and heard. She lived a full and happy life including five years in Paris when her late husband Sanford had the opportunity to work abroad. She leaves three loving Hertz daughters, Marcia, Meg and Pat; sons-in-law Bob Slavin and Glenn Kreielsheimer; and four adoring grandchildren, Seth and Aaron Kreielsheimer, Josh Slavin and Sofia Hertz, who all felt totally embraced and accepted by their beloved Granny/Gaga. She will also be dearly missed by the many friends and family members of different generations who were lucky enough to experience her love and kindness.
A celebration of Marilyn’s life will take place on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at noon, at Temple Ohabei Shalom, Beacon Street, Brookline. Please make a memorial donation to a non-profit of your choice.
