Ron was born 4/1/49 to Ronald and Anne Marie in Santa Monica, California. Ron graduated from Corning Union High School in 1967, He served as a SeaBee in the Navy. He later went on to become a Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker for 26 years. Ron and Deborah started a business making Renaissance Clothing, and Ron became a master booth builder and was self-taught to grade patterns for the clothing Deborah made. Here at Hearts Delight they worked side by side for 38 years to build a life for their children and countless others along the way. He was first and foremost a loving husband and father.
In 1985, he met and married Deborah, the love of his life. They were wed on 11/16/1985; a short 6 months after first meeting. Ron and Deborah have 8 children that they shared. Daniel, Jason, Elizabeth, Hannah, Bridget, Justin, Bethany, Genessa and Rio. They were also blessed with 22 grandchildren Cyrus, Diamond, Kyle, Kasara, Naomi, Joshua, Olivia, Emily, Elizabeth, Macie, Vander, Simon, Julee Rae, Ryan, Nathaniel, Abby, Ronald, Wyatt, Oliver, Theodore, Jullian, Grace; and 4 great-grandchildren Caleb, Amara, Allison, and Nehemiah.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Anne Marie & Chet and Ronald & Rosemary, his son Jason, his son-in-law, Carl and Joseph, father to his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Deborah, his children; Daniel, Elizabeth, Hannah, Bridget, Justin, Bethany and Genessa. His siblings Susan, Rebecca, Robert, Randy, and Renee. Butch also leaves behind countless nieces, nephews, and cousins that adored him.
Services to be held at Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home 757 East Main Street, Ventura, California on 12/9/23 at noon. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you plant a tree in his honor. Ron was curating his own little forest, and we ask that you continue to grow it in his memory. Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, Ventura.
