Lorraine (Bollea) Correia, 86, of Dartmouth, formerly of New Bedford and Wareham, passed away Thursday November 2, 2023 at The Cottages of Dartmouth Village. She was the wife of the late Philip Correia.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph and Domenica J. (Ferrero) Bollea, she lived in New Bedford and Wareham for most of her life before moving to Dartmouth last year.
Lorraine was formerly employed as an office clerk for the New Bedford Public School Department until her retirement.
She is survived by several cousins.
She was predeceased by her young sister, Vivian Bollea, and her Godchild, Jennifer Duval.
Her visitation will be held on Wednesday November 8th from 10:30-11:30 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her committal service at 12:30 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
