Claire E. Doyle passed away Tuesday, October 17th at her Medford home in the company of her loved ones. She was 75. Born and raised in Somerville, she is the daughter of the late Redmond and the late Alice (Potter) Doyle.
Claire had been employed for many years as a secretary in the administrative offices of Massachusetts General Hospital. In her retirement, Claire enjoyed her life in Riverside Towers in Medford. She liked to volunteer in various activities there and she was blessed with her good friends, Renee and Doris, who were like family to her. She also enjoyed the company of her dog, Abby.
Claire had many nieces and nephews and relished being with them at cookouts and other family functions. Dining with friends and family was something Claire liked to do, as well as play cards with them.
She is survived by her sisters, Joanne Castle and Barbara Doyle, and many nieces and nephews, as well as her friends. Claire was the sister of the late Richard Doyle.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Rd., Medford, on Wednesday, November 8th at 1 pm. Please gather inside the main gate.
