Worcester: Paul Bondi (72) passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2023. Paul is survived by his brother, Edward Bondi, and his wife, Donna Bondi, of Randolph, MA; Paul’s nephew Scott Bondi, his wife, Sara Bondi, and their daughter, Daniella Bondi of Oakham, MA. He also leaves behind countless family members and dear friends.
Paul was a lifelong resident of Worcester, MA. He was a nurse at Saint Vincent’s Hospital and the former Worcester State Hospital. He found solace in caring for others and loved working in the medical field. Dinner time discussions would often include Paul sharing memories of his times at Worcester State Hospital as he had some amazing stories to tell. Paul proudly followed in the footsteps of his mother, Virgina Bondi, who predeceased him in 2009.
Paul spent the last few years of his life happily at Holden Rehab and Nursing, always eager to attend facility events, Bingo, and movie nights. Paul was an avid animal lover and often donated to animal charities. He would often call his nephew to check on all four cats and two dogs by name. Lovingly referred to as Uncle Paul by almost everyone in his life, Paul was a selfless and caring friend to all who crossed his path. Paul also enjoyed studying all types of religion, loved to read, and spend time with his family. He will be greatly missed.
