Delion Desir, age 74 of Brockton, died October 24, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Telucia Thelusma Desir. He was born in Thomassin, Haiti a son of the late Saivilus Desir and Marie Sainte. He immigrated to Brockton five years ago.
Delion’s work was spent as a builder in the construction field.
He was a great man whom everyone loved. He was always ready to help someone in need. Delion was a man of God who was active in his church and prayed for everyone.
Delion was the father of Lafontant Desir and his wife Juliette of Brockton, Marina Desir and her husband Allan Corviel of Brockton, Darline Desir of Brockton, Bertho Desir of Haiti and Dany Clyvens of the Dominican Republic. He was the grandfather of Govani, Nekialie and Natann Corvial, Julian and Lens Desir. Brother of Luc Desir, Raymonde Desir Lafleur, Ralph Desir, Siliana Desir and the late Serge, Desir, Rosita Desir and Miraxin Desir. Uncle of Chantal Desir, Lucner Desir, James Desir, Suzie Desir, Daphnee Desir, Guerda Delice, Suzette Lafleur, Frederic Lafleur, Jean Richard Lafleur, Eric Lafleur, Diego Lafleur, Carmel Desir, Emmanuel Desir, Dominique Desir, Naely Desir Joseph, Stephanie Desir Komeau, Eddysson Desir, Miralda Desir, Stanley Desir, Sophia Desir, Sabrina Desir, Vanessa Desir Joseph, Melissa Desir, Pouchon Desir, Wately Geffrard, Roselaure Geffrard, Kempes Sejour, Ralph Pierre, Oliver Pierre. special grand nieces and nephew, Sidney Anne Jean,
Cassandre Delice and his beloved grand nephew Bach Angelo Jean. He is also survived by his cousins Sindia Bazile and family, Marie Josee Saint Hilaire and family and Viergeme St Hilaire and family.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA on Friday November 3, 2023 from 6-9pm. Funeral Service at 10am on Saturday November 4, 2023 at the Brockton Church of God, 80 Pleasant St. Brockton, Mass. Burial at a later date.
