Obituary

CHICOPEE – Thomas P. “Tommy” Stone, 61, of the Willimansett section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, October 26, 2023. He passed into Eternal life at UMASS Memorial Medical Center University Campus in Worcester surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Holyoke on December 3, 1961, a beloved son of Geraldine (Provost) Stone of Chicopee and the late George P. Stone, Sr. who was Called Home on November 5, 2004. He was raised in Chicopee and was a lifelong resident of Chicopee. He was employed as a welder for various local Metal Fabrication Shops. During his leisure time, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, watching the Boston Bruins and listening to southern rock and blues music. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and his friends. In addition to his mother, he leaves his loving daughter, Samantha R. Stone and her partner, Curtis Price, of East Longmeadow; his cherished grandson, Carsen Stone; his half brothers, George P. Stone, Jr. and his wife, Deb, of Topsham, VT and Kenneth A. Stone and his wife, Liz, of West Springfield; his half sister, Judith Wojcek of Southwick; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. He also leaves his partner, Lynne Desilets of Chicopee; his former wife, Tammy L. Otto of East Longmeadow; and his three step-sons, Justin Breault and his wife, Liz, and Michael Breault and his wife, Karissa, all of Granby and Kristoffer Breault and his partner, Breann Jordan, of Springfield. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his dear brother, Michael L. Stone who was Called Home on September 30, 2017. His funeral services and burial will be private.
